“Although I met Dr. Ferkel after breaking my ankle and was very concerned about having surgery, he immediately made me feel at ease. He patiently answered all my questions. It was my first surgery, but his calm demeanor helped me calm down. The surgery went well and during the first month of recovery he responded to emails quickly and allowed the time I needed to ask additional questions during follow-up appointments. He is very caring and helped me through a very trying time. It has been about seven months since the surgery and I am pleased with my progress.”
