“I have seen Dr. Walker for several years. I think he is an excellent Doctor. I had a knee replacement with him, and he is a very upfront Doctor. That’s what I admire about him. He doesn’t sugar coat things. He tells you what to do after the surgery, and if you do what he tells you, your recovery is so minimal. I had a significant improvement; I can do anything with my knee. That said, Dr. Walker was terrific, the surgery went well, his follow up allowed me the time I needed, and he did not feel hurried. In a sense, I now become a legacy as I still have one knee to be done. My only concern is with one of his staff with whom I have a very negative relationship. “Everything happened as explained prior to knee replacement. Dr Walker did an excellent job with the surgery. No problems were experienced. When my other knee needs to be replaced I will not hesitate to use Dr. Walker again. The initial care at the Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists was second to none. They did an excellent job the first two days following surgery. Dr. Walker's nurse practitioner, Bree, was very knowledgeable on what to expect after surgery. At the 6 week visit I was at the recommended 120 degree bend. Bree signed me up for another 12 therapy visits to see if I could get to 130 degrees. I actually made it to 135 degrees. I'm glad for the recommendation and the additional bend in my knee. It is the same as my normal knee now. At six months I feel I'm back to normal. Kneeling is the one thing that still causes some pain. Dr Walker said it is normal and due to the incision. He said to use a pad when kneeling which will help. Thank you. Dr. Walker and Bree for pain-free walking again!”

“Dr. Walker is a professional, caring man. The recovery from robotic arm right knee replacement has been incredibly good, and this is only my seventh week from surgery. The time under anesthesia was only one hour, the ability to wean off pain pills went well, and the incision is healing so well I may have other friends-who've-had-knee-surgery jealous! The physical therapists I've worked with at my local hospital were inspired with the progress I made the first six weeks; I have plans to continue PT on my own as needed until I can forget I ever had to have surgery. I have already given out accolades and recommendations to curious people who have witnessed this process.
