“Dr. Woodruff is a wonderful surgeon and Dr. from the day that I walked into the office and met with him for the first time, he put me at ease. I didn't feel like just another file number or dollar sign. I felt like he actually cared about how I felt and how the injury had affected me and my life. He was very straight forward and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I put my trust in him to treat my back problems with no hesitation. Back surgery is a very scary surgery to have, one wrong move and you could be paralyzed, however I had compete confidence in Dr. Woodruffs ability to do the surgery and I would recommend him to anyone as well as Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center.”

Dr. Woodruff and his staff, Kyla and the other nurse (I'm sad to say I can't remember her name right now) are simply awesome. Mitch Graves is great. A fantastic place. Sadly, I had to go through a lot of ridiculous procedures, and people like Dr. Watt to meet Dr. Woodruff. “The office was, as always, friendly and efficient. I waited about 5 minutes to go into an exam room and from there it was maybe another 5 minutes to see the doctor. An xray was taken before he came in, which is great!
He gave me a clear diagnosis and a conservative plan of treatment. Since I am anti-needles and anti-surgery, his advice was spot on.

“Dr Woodruff performed out-patient surgery L4L5 laminectomy for my Lower back pain. The pain after surgery was not as bad as I had anticipated. The Black Hills Surgical Hospital (BHSH) nursing staff had me up and walking shortly after postop, excellent patient care and service at the BHSH.
On third day after discharge I was able to get in and out of bed, sit down and get up with very little discomfort and getting better with each day there after.
Dr Woodruff explained the whole surgery procedure prior to surgery, he did an excellent job and I'm quit satisfied with his work.”
