“I saw Dr. Putman for shoulder/rotator cuff issue. He went over my injury and my options in detail that were very understandable. Caring, low key, and professional communication and appreciated to go along with being an A+ doctor. You can sense when someone wants to give you the right guidance and best treatment. Gave me a cortisone injection and outlined all my responsibilities and time frames for doing things and healing. When he entered the room, Dr. Putman asked if I had any issues making an appointment right away. To me that shows real patient concern and is the right question to ask someone with significant pain that limits you, and you need to get in quickly, and you don't want an ER visit, you want this doctor for the reasons I stated. I told him I called the day before and got the next day, 930 appts. For the record, I'm a patient of Dr. Bohan, and I had seen Dr. Putman several years ago for a hand issue, and I was thrilled with his entire M.O.”

“I'm 67 years old, retired and spend most of my time on the ocean sailing. I broke the upper part of my right Humerus, a compound fracture that left the bones .9 inches apart. There was no easy way out of this, there were no options, there were no choices, my arm required surgery. My wonderful surgeon, Dr. Putman, was chosen for the task. Dr. Putman installed a plate running from my elbow to shoulder fastened with, what looks like, half a box of deck screws. Returning home from the hospital I could not straighten my arm nor could I raise my hand above my nose, not to mention the pain when moving my arm. I figured this was the end of my sailing days. Twelve weeks after receiving Dr. Putman's ordered Physical Therapy and his supervision, I'm not taking any medication, not in pain, I have full Range of Motion with my arm and back on the boat sailing again. Thank you, Dr. Putman!”

“Excellent overall first-time experience. Very efficient across the board. No wait time. Personable administrative and medical staff. Beautiful, new and clean medical building at Murrells Inlet. Dr. Putman is very knowledgeable about Carpal Tunnel and discussed my condition with me and explained the upcoming surgical process. Although I previously had a nerve conduction test done on both hands at another medical facility, it was very proactive of Dr. Putman to have a staff member X-ray both hands at this building minutes before my appointment. Very convenient that surgery is performed at this medical complex instead of a hospital.”
