“Dr. Peden is a superb surgeon and of equal importance to me, he is kind and thoughtful in his efforts to educate his patients. I like the fact that Dr. Peden views the patient as a significant partner in their recovery and he emphasized all aspects of my recovery. Upon meeting him for the first time, I liked him immediately and had faith in his intention to improve the movement of my shoulder for the long term. One of the reasons my comfort-ability level with Dr. Peden ran high from day one is that his approach was respectful and thoroughly detailed, so that I could be informed while making a decision. There was no pressure to have surgery and especially no pressure to have him perform the surgery. He told me to do my research and let him know what I think. My husband attended every appointment and respected Dr. Peden, too. His assistant Katie was enormously helpful throughout the procedure and follow-up. Dr. Peden did everything he possibly could to assure my recovery, including ordering a device to help stretch my shoulder as needed. He also worked with me on my posture; something I try to remember to continue to do. I followed his instructions and had very good results thanks to his persistence and mine.”
