“To date, I love his approach; he treats me as a unique individual. I see it, evaluates my progress and recommendations for my development on my unique physical & mental characteristics in other words. I'm not just another one of those older people with a broken bone. He has done an excellent job putting the bone back in place to mend. He is very professional, and at the same time has an aura and personality that seems to care about the patient genuinely. I'm very grateful that he is the surgeon who took care of me when I broke my femur. I had the ambulance driver take me to University Orthopedic Surgeons the night I broke my leg. I did not want to be cared for by any other orthopedics. I have had the opposite experience with them and was genuinely hopeful that would not be the case at UT. And I can say that I have had a good experience, and I believe it is all due to Dr. Kostas. I will owe a lot of my future happiness to the results of Dr. Kostas' performance. I just ordered me a t-shirt that says, "And into the forest, I go to lose my mind and save my soul." Of course, it has an equestrian woman (who knows, maybe an "old" one) on a horse riding into the forest. I hope he realizes that he is truly appreciated.”

“I was in a motorcycle accident on October 27th in Sevierville. I was flown to UT Hospital with a compound fracture. Dr. Triantafillou was able to save my leg. It is not very pretty, but it is my leg and not artificial. After getting a bone infection and bone graft and many months in a wheelchair, I am finally able to walk. Dr. Triantafillou and Cassie are so terrific, helpful and caring. They will always have a special place in our hearts.”
