“I had a very good experience with Dr. Gesell and his staff. My very first visit with Dr. Gesell was not what I wanted to hear. I knew I needed a knee replacement but asked for a cortisone injection. Dr. Gesell would not give me one for many reasons and I think he felt I would not be back but I knew he had my best interest. It has been four weeks with my knee replacement and going to physical therapy and doing well.
Dr. Gabisan took care of my ankle and recommended Dr. Gesell. I am happy with both doctors.”

He took the time to explain to me everything I would need to know to properly prepare me. His ability to calm patients is a rare thing. Having a major surgery can be frightening. So, I was relieved to find a dr and staff that made the process easy.

“Dr. Gasell replaced my right knee in 2015 and did a great job. As things developed, I needed spine and hip surgery. Dr. Gasell determined the back should be done first which it was. I'll return to Dr. Gaskell for the hip with all the confidence one can have. On another note Dr. Gabisan worked with Dr. Gaskell to address the "drop foot" on the left. Keeping them busy !”

“Absolutely wonderful. I had a hip replacement in 2012, when I was barely able to "stagger around"! Within a few weeks I was "made over," and able to travel on a long trip to Korea. Since then I have felt wonderful, as good as new. I exercise an hour to an hour and a half every day, and I would never know I had a hip replacement, based on how I feel. The surgery made me feel at least twenty years younger. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly than Dr. Gesell. As a postscript, I would advise anyone having this surgery to do all the exercises prescribed in the aftermath very diligently. I spent a week in rehab, which was very helpful, and I did everything I was told to do. In addition to the wonderful results from the surgery, I think my insistence on regular exercise has been a very good plan. Thank you so much.”
