“It was nice to hear that Dr. Gehrman did not say I needed surgery immediately. He was very honest, telling me it is arthritis causing me pain, and the only thing he can do currently is a shot. He asked if I would like a shot today or if my pain wasn’t too bad, and I wanted to wait. I am not too fond of needles and don’t like getting shots of any kind, so I elected to hold off on the shot. It is nice to know I can call the office and request an injection when the pain gets intolerable. I wanted to be seen before it got too bad and to ensure it wasn’t a rotator cuff issue. He gave me a lot of relief, knowing it was just arthritis, which I have lived with for many years. I will be putting the injection off until later. Dr. Gehrman is very friendly and has a beautiful office.”

“I love the new North Myrtle Beach location. It has everything in one facility. There isn't any waiting, and they have very professional and friendly staff. I moved down from Virginia, and I had been going to OrthoVirginia for seven years. OrthoSC is exactly what I was used to. Dr. Gehrman was wonderful. This was the first time I'd had gel shots in my knees, and I did not feel the needle. If you need an orthopedic place to go, I strongly suggest OrthoSC and Dr. Gehrman.”
