“Dr. Lovell was very professional from the beginning. He gave me the option of having one knee replaced now or both in the same operation. I chose both, rather than having to do physical therapy twice. The procedure went very smoothly, and I was recovering well. Then, as I was leaving his office complex one day after physical therapy, I stupidly stepped off of the curb without the support and fell to the pavement, injuring both knees. The office staff came out, picked me up, put me in a wheelchair, and rolled me to the doctors' area, where examined. After a day or two, I realized that I had messed up my knees, so I went back to see Dr. Lovell. He quickly determined that I had torn the ligaments above both knees in the fall, and would require surgery again to repair both tendons. The second surgery went off without a hitch as well. I completed therapy and was released. I have been seen since then by Dr. Lovell by the Practice's protocol for surgery follow-up. My knees are fine. I can stoop, bend, etc. just as if I were a younger man. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Lovell and will return to him for any future orthopedic needs within his area of specialty. I recommend Dr. Lovell to anyone considering knee surgery. You'll be glad you went in!”
